    January 7th, 2010

This is big and I never thought it would be this way, but anyway, here we go again.

With the intention in pursuing a PhD in Economics or in a related field to further my education, I started looking for some sponsors, someone who could help me get there financially.

What I did not realize is that many of those Universities require that you take a GRE and TOEFL -Tests for Ph. D. or GMAT for MBA Programs before they can accept you.

A standard social media campaign helps spread the word about you and encourages other people to as well.

An explosive social media campaign has inherent viral exposure, inspires community driven communication, helps make the web a better place, and even brings joy to people, however fleeting.

  • Top 10 Causes your computer slows Down

    October 27th, 2009

    1. System Start-up packed with too many applications (Start-up overload)

Over time, as you add more and more programs to your computer, many of these applications automatically add themselves to your Windows Start-up folder. Additionally, these applications can add themselves quietly to a hidden area of your Windows Start-up system (accessed via the MSCONFIG run command). • Microsoft Tests Paid Search Ad Format

    September 22nd, 2009

Microsoft will launch a pilot this month to test new paid search ad formats using logos and favicons embedded in listings. The icons expand on the traditional two simple text lines and link. James Colborn, director at Microsoft Advertising and long-time adCenter veteran, believes the market is ready to experiment with more creative options. These options stray from standard text ads in search. Consumers next year will start to see a richer ad experience in search results, he says.

Microsoft has seen a rise in query share, and a nearly 40% increase in click-through rates, according to Colborn. Still, getting consumers to switch their favorite search engine, such as Google or Bing, has been a challenge.
